Program notes
In antiquity, the term "Apotheosis" was given to the exaltation and elevation of a mortal to divine status, often told within an epic narrative journey of a hero who, after several adventures and challenges, was granted the honor of joining the gods. Passing through several dances, chaos, but reflective and serene moments, the piece develops and fights within itself until a climactic point where you can hear and feel a kind of epic resolution and transcendental peace.
